About me
My yoga journey began in 2010 with my first yoga class in a small setting. I immediately sensed something special happening which I still struggle to find words for. It maybe can be described as a feeling of being ‘integrated’, more centred, more wholesome. Since then experiencing, studying and teaching yoga has been an ongoing journey. I am immensely grateful for all the people who have influenced me through their teachings, for the long lineage of yogic explorers before me and especially those who faithfully have practiced with me as my students. You are my greatest teachers!
I am holding the British Wheel of Yoga Level 4 Diploma (500+ h) and the TSYP Yoga Therapy Diploma (700+ h). I also have taken numerous other smaller training units.
My yoga therapy work is accredited by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and I am teacher member of British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and The Society of Yoga Practitioners (TSYP).
‘And yet it is precisely in this understanding of the inevitability of change that the meaning of yoga enters our life and beckons towards happiness …This is the ancient meaning [of yoga]: ‘To move from one situation to another; to understand what I have not understood; to gain what I lack’.
